Blockader
Welcome to Blockader, a top-tier 2D roguelite survival shooter game. Here, brave space mice must face wave after wave of fierce and bizarre alien monsters. You stand right in the middle of a gorgeous circular arena on the lunar surface. Surrounded by relentless attacks coming from all directions. Players must survive 30 intense waves of enemy onslaughts. Each wave is becoming increasingly crowded and dangerous.
To complete the level, you must absorb enough yellow stars to fill the power gauge at the bottom of the screen. Once this gauge is full, the current wave ends. Players get a brief moment of quiet to choose power-up cards. Just a single slip-up by colliding with an enemy or getting hit by a bullet will cause your character to lose a life. When your health bar runs out, your journey ends immediately. Get ready to unleash critical shots!
GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
To master this battlefield, you need to remember the following controls:
- Use the WASD keys or arrow keys to move your character flexibly across the circular arena.
- Use the number keys from one to four to quickly select random power-up cards that appear after each wave.
- Tap the space key to reroll the available card selections.
- Press the tab key to toggle the detailed statistics table on or off. So, it's easy to track your character's current power stats.
- Press the Esc key to pause the game when you need a break or want to rethink your next strategy.
The hands-on experience of playing Blockader delivers a very authentic physics feel. As the number of enemies increases, players must constantly run in curving loops. Maintaining a safe distance from the outer edge of the circle is crucial. That is where enemies pop up suddenly and snipers favor aiming. You must move nonstop, making the most of your speed to cluster the enemies together.

- Run in circles to herd the crowd of monsters into a large group.
- Do not pick upgrade cards randomly; establish a clear build path right from the start.
- If the appearing upgrade cards do not fit your character build, use the space key to refresh the selection list.
- Invest in movement speed to make dodging sniper bullets much easier.
- Persevere in collecting stars after every run to upgrade your Skill Tree and permanent gear.
