Step into the virtual stadium of Basketball GOAT and become a professional basketball player. Shoot the ball into the hoop as many times as possible to rack up scores. Overcome increasingly difficult challenges. As a pro shooter, you must calculate the distance and power very accurately. The ball will clear all barriers and go straight into the net. Each level will set different requirements. For example, the hoop might move constantly from left to right, or unexpected obstacles may pop up. Therefore, players must have super-fast reflexes and sharp observation skills to handle every situation professionally. Break your own high score records.
GAMEPLAY INTRODUCTION
Basketball GOAT provides a pretty simple interface so players can focus completely on the core mechanics. There, you only have a basketball and a hoop that constantly changes its position. To start a turn, you need to use the computer mouse as your main tool. Players need to click and hold the left mouse button on the ball. Right then, a faint dotted line will appear on the screen, showing the expected flight path of the ball. Moving the mouse up or down will directly change the height of the shot. While moving the mouse left or right will adjust the power and the tilt angle. To release a clean shot, just let go of the left mouse button. In later challenges, the position of the hoop will change constantly to test your skills. For every situation like that, you need to change your tactics accordingly.
Ball controls
Click on the ball and move the mouse to set the shooting direction and power. Once you are happy with it, let go to shoot the ball toward the hoop and score.
Tips & tricks
- Look closely at the trajectory line before deciding to release the mouse and shoot.
- Aim for a swish shot that goes straight into the hoop without touching the rim to get a big bonus score.
- Adjust your shooting power based on the distance between the ball and the hoop.
- Keep a calm mind and stay highly focused. Practicing hard every day is the shortest path to becoming a legend.
