Horror Nun 2 takes players back to the events that happened before the first game. You will play as William. He is a poor student trapped inside Eagle's Junior High School under the cruel rule of Sister Madeline. This school is no longer a place of learning. It has turned into a fortified prison and a mad laboratory holding the darkest secrets.
Therefore, you must help William find a way out of this cursed school. However, this escape is far from easy, as the exit is secured behind multiple locks. To open the doors, you need to search:
- Classrooms.
- Chemistry labs.
- The library.
- Dark underground tunnels
This action is to track down keys, tools, and puzzle clues. Overcome your fear and find a way out.
THE STORY
The second game digs deeper into Sister Madeline's tragic past. You will slowly uncover the complicated bond between her and Elisa. iT sheds light on the hidden pain that turned an ordinary nun into a bloodthirsty demon. On top of that, an evil force named Nazrat is the true origin behind Madeline's dark shift. Every dark corner in the school hides a piece of history. Only by piecing them together can you understand how this nightmare began.
GAME LOOP SHOWCASE
To survive and break free, you need to master your movement and controls:
- WASD or arrow keys: Move your character smoothly across different areas.
- Move the mouse: Look around, adjust the camera view, and check dark corners carefully.
- Shift key: Crouch and sneak quietly to keep your footsteps silent on the floor.
- F or E key: Interact with objects around you. Such as opening doors, checking mailboxes, picking up items, or crawling into air vents.
The moment you wake up, quickly search the starting room for basic supplies. Dropping items, opening creaky wooden doors, or running too fast all make noise. Sister Madeline has razor-sharp hearing. She will rush straight toward any sound to hunt you down. If she catches you, she knocks you out and a new day begins. If you burn through all your daily chances without escaping, your run ends in total disaster.
A massive school campus
The school grounds are no longer just basic classrooms. The map expands to outdoor yards, greenhouses, science rooms, and hidden basement floors. This complex layout gives you plenty of escape routes, but it can also make it very easy to get lost.
The arrival of evil mutant chickens
These monsters serve as Sister Madeline's loyal helpers:
- Gummy, a heavy round beast that pins you down while waiting for his master to finish you off.
- Roosto, a long-necked watcher who stays on high alert and screeches to sound the alarm.
- Mr. C, a muscular, aggressive chicken breast with blinding speed.
To deal with these threats, the game includes a crafting system. You can pick up scrap items like duct tape, metal pipes, and gunpowder scattered around the building. With these, you can craft defense gear like explosive guns or electric traps. They will stun them for a short time—giving you just enough room to run away or finish a key puzzle.
Different difficulty levels
- Ghost: Enemies cannot see you at all. You are free to explore the building and memorize puzzle spots without any risk of attack.
- Easy: Enemies move slower, hear worse, and fall for distractions more easily.
- Normal: The standard experience with balanced enemy speed and AI awareness.
- Hard and extreme: Enemies move very fast. They can catch the faintest noises, and almost always seem to know where you are hiding.

Tips to hide
- If you know sister Madeline is nearby, throw a spare item into an empty corner. Then crouch-walk away in the opposite direction.
- Whenever you hear heavy footsteps closing in, jump into a hiding spot right away.
- Keeping a homemade weapon in your hands boosts your survival chances.
- Memorize locked door locations and keep track of which key opens which lock.
- Move quietly in a crouch whenever possible.
- Listen closely to nearby sounds and only move when you are sure the area is clear.
