You will not control players running constantly on the pitch. Instead, you will control pieces representing your team to execute powerful collisions. Put the ball into the opponent's net and score more goals than your opponent!

MECHANICS DEEP DIVE

In World Soccer, each player manages a group of four player pieces on the field. Your job is to guide the ball past the opponent's defense and land it into the net. To execute a shot, you need to use your mouse cursor skillfully. First, players need to move the mouse cursor to the piece they want to control. Then, you will press and hold the left mouse button and drag backward. At this point, a directional arrow appears to determine the trajectory. The further you drag, the stronger the shot force. Once you have aligned the angle and force to your satisfaction, simply release the left mouse button for the piece to carry out its task.

How to control your team

• Click on a piece and drag the mouse backward to make the directional arrow appear.
• Release the mouse to let the piece move and perform its task.

Tactics

Players should not just focus on shooting straight. Sometimes, using a piece to block the opponent's attack path is a smarter tactic. When in defensive mode, let your pieces stand in critical positions so the opponent cannot find gaps to score.
